Telopea specialises in the planting and maintenance of traditional English and stylish contemporary gardens.

My name is Jonathan Cairns, owner of Telopea and a committed and experienced plant enthusiast. I aim to provide solutions for people who want gardens that will reflect their tastes and enhance their homes without involving major expense.

My client base is located in North and East Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and North Essex.

I aim to offer a service that is friendly, efficient and informed. All projects, whether large or small, are tailored to the preferences and means of individual clients.

My core skills are these:

• Design (and re-design) of small or large garden spaces
• Planting and maintenance of beds and borders
• Reclamation and management of neglected gardens
• Lawn care including mowing scarifying & top-dressing
• Tree and hedge planting and low-level maintenance including hedge trimming
• Soil improvement
• Herbaceous plant selection and acquisition
• Vegetable gardens and fruit production

I do not do one-off makeovers unless it is within the framework of a larger garden.
