Garden design consultations and designs for new-build properties or established gardens in need of a 'makeover'

Restoration of tired and neglected gardens within an existing framework

Renovation and replanting of existing beds and borders

Implementation of planting schemes from plans drawn by others

Supply of trees, shrubs and perennials from wholesalers, including the sourcing of unusual plants

Regular management of established gardens throughout the year, which may include:

• Lawn care, including seasonal treatment for moss and weeds
• Maintenance of hedges and small trees
• Pest and disease control
• Pond management
• Fruit and vegetable production

I can also provide design services for:

Office and industrial park planting

A complete design service is available from an initial consultation through to project management and aftercare. The sequential stages of such a project may include:

Phase One

Initial consultation to assess clients' requirements and expectations

Written brief and fee proposal

Survey and site analysis of the garden

Second consultation, at which an outline plan is presented for sign-off

Preparation of detailed plans including hard construction and planting

Selection of specialist trades for hard landscaping, electrical, etc.

Third consultation, at which detailed financial proposal is presented for sign-off

Phase Two

Project monitoring during hard construction work

Planting

Handover
